We bring
efficiency to health care.

With our system installed, there is no need for a fixed monitoring person or even an office for the nurses or attendants. All members of staff on duty will automatically be included in the alarm ring and are free to move around, not only in the service home or hospital, but anywhere within reach to the clients or patients within the set time limits from an unexpected alarm. Responding to an alarm is monitored by the system, as is the actual entry to the clients/patients room or apartment. The nurse will always be granted keyless entry through electronic identification when electric locks are used. The multiconnectivity and server architecture assures total attendance to all alarms by the correct response staff.

The multiconnectivity through different channels (for example IP and GPRS) also makes it possible to avoid different operator based communication errors.

When there is a patient situation, whether it be an automatic monitoring alarm or a manual request for help or assistance, in the simplest possible way, the nurses will receive an explaining SMS text message to their mobile phone after accepting the responsibility for the particular alarm. The system will only engage a particular person to the alarm and will go through each and every one on duty in order to ensure a proper response. The system will not stop sending the alarm until an authorized staff on duty has taken it.

The room or apartment can be equipped with at least the following devices connected to one radio hub.
  • Fire detectors, that are powered and function monitored through the system
  • Stove guard powered by the system and automatically monitoring the devices functional status
  • Alarm bracelet with a radio link. It can be equipped with a press button or it can be fully automated. For the mentally disordered patients the functionality includes automatic locating of the person and locking of doors to prevent unauthorized exits.
  • Service panel. It can actually be in the form of an ordinary looking phone, which in actual fact is a GPRS unit connecting contact center service providers to signed customers.
  • Night lighting control
  • Movement sensors
  • Door openers
  • Access control devices
The hub, called the Location Server (LS), is a circuit board computer with a closed operating system free of unwanted virus and other malicious access hazards. One LS can control a large number of end devices and sensors simultaneously. One important feature is that a wireless end device can connect to the system through other LSs as well, thus permitting a boundary free service even in the perimeter. The communication is immediate and this permits real time access control for patients in a restricted care unit and actually allows the use of the system in a normal apartment building without the normal guarding. All alarms and equipment events are logged on the system for later review.
